Tier 1: Highly Skilled Migrants; General,
Investors, Entrepreneurs, Post-Degree Holders
As a client, if you are looking to invest in or start-up your
own business within the UK, with a minimum financing amount of £1
million, you will be included within this category.
Additionally, if you are a current UK student switching to post-study
work, or if you are otherwise deemed a “Highly Skilled Migrant”
under Home Office definitions, you will also belong to this category.

Tier 2: Sponsored Employment; General, Intra-Company Transfer,
Sports Persons, Minister of Religion
This tier replaced the original work permit system. Therefore,
all migrants who have gained a sponsorship to work in the UK, including
those employed by a multi-national company transferring to a skilled
position in a UK branch of the business, will fall under this category.
Additionally, if you are a religious worker from within a religious
organisation coming to the UK for more than two years, or if you
are an internationally established and sponsored sportsperson who
will make a significant contribution to the development of sport,
you will also belong to this category.

Tier 4: Foreign Students; Adult, Child
If you are a prospective student looking to study within the UK,
then you will fall into this category.

Tier 5: Temporary Workers; Creative & Sporting, Charity Workers,
Religious Workers, Government Authorised Exchange, International
Agreement
You will be included within this tier if you belong in one of the
following categories:
- Clients coming to the UK to work or perform as sports people,
entertainers or creative artists for up to 12 months
- Clients coming to the UK to do voluntary work for charity for
up to 12 months (The work must be directly related to the work
of your sponsor’s organisation)
- Clients coming to the UK as within the religious worker category
to work temporarily for less than 24 months
- Clients coming to the UK through an approved scheme under a
government authorised exchange, with the aim to
- share knowledge, experience and best practice, and to experience
the UK social and cultural life for up to a maximum of 24 months
- Clients coming to the UK under contract to do work covered under
international law for up to a maximum of 24 months
